God's Messy Plan: We Need a Guarantee

We wrap up Paul's introduction to Ephesians this Sunday with a look at the Holy Spirit in Ephesians 1:11-14. If God the Father is the one who initiates salvation toward us, and the God the Son is the one who accomplishes salvation for us, then God the Holy Spirit is the one who applies salvation to us. While there is much mystery around who the Holy Spirit is and how he works, our passage this week explains four ways the Holy Spirit ministers to us in an ongoing way.
